Our boat “Elberry”, named after the beautiful cove on the South Devon coast, is fully insured and licensed by the MCA and Local Authority to carry up to 12 passengers. A 1960s Berry Brothers 30ft launch, built with oak and iroko, fitted with a fully water-proof cover completes the perfect mixture of both old and new. With a beautiful dining area, fully functioning toilet and stunning views you are offered the perfect cruising environment whatever the weather.
Robert & Rebecca are a partnership made in Devon! Both sharing a love of delicious food & good wine enjoyed with great company.

The pair have both grown up a stones throw away from the spellbinding river Dart, gaining decades of experience on the water. Whether rowing boats or paddle boarding, stopping for an impromptu picnic on the river banks or motoring up the estuary to enjoy a glass of bubbles or a pint of local cider at Dittisham.

Exemplary hospitality is a passion of ours and we believe the Banquet Boat has it in buckets and spades! Rebecca & Robert have had a lifetime of mingling both sides of the bar at many of the fine establishments this area has to offer, we both appreciate great service and know what makes a good time.

Rebecca has spent her professional life working with prestigious restaurants and hosting corporate events. Most recently Rebecca ran her own successful small business in the heart of the community. As a result she has an enviable little black book of quality producers & suppliers and is committed to sourcing amazing regional produce speckled with some international flavours.

Robert had forged a successful career in the luxury yachting industry, working and studying all the way up to the top position of chief engineer on an opulent 66 meter Lurrsen superyacht. On his time working on these vessels he has learnt a thing or two about top notch service and dining (Just don’t mention Below Deck to him!)

The pair have gained all the qualifications and certificates needed to operate the Banquet Boat, so rest assured you’ll be in safe hands!
